Alumni are playing key roles in helping the University to realise its Centenary Vision with a new wave of alumni giving culture and active alumni involvement.

Many alumni have chosen to contribute to:

	their own graduating departments and faculties;
	teaching and research centres, interdisciplinary research areas or specific projects undertaken by individual professors or research teams;
	academic excellence through the funding of endowed professorships, visiting scholars and the recruitment of renowned scholars;
	scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and the international student exchange programme; and
	other university facilities like the University Libraries and the University Museum & Art Gallery, etc.
